Ministries

Sunday School is every Sunday at 10:00 am for All ages.
This Spring there will be three classes offered for College Students and Adults:

"Westminster Confession Study" led by Pastor Evans

"Faith at Work: Studies in the Book of James" led by Nancy Franson

Faith at Work: Studies in the Book of James is the title of the book which will provide the foundation for the women’s Sunday school class. Described as one of the most practical letters in the New Testament, the book of James encourages believers to apply sound biblical teaching in their daily lives, becoming doers of the Word and not merely hearers. This study will focus on practical application of faith, and toward that end, will highlight opportunities for women’s ministry throughout the church. We will meet in the Narthex.

Sermon Discussion Group will be meeting in the loft.

Nursery Care
Nursery care is provided for children during Sunday morning worship, Sunday School, and the Sunday evening services.

Men’s Covenant Group is open to all the men in the church and meets on Saturdays at 7:00 AM.
We enjoy fellowship and conversation devoted to Scripture and solid Christian books. Last year we averaged about a dozen men at these meetings. First we studied the Pastoral Epistles and then we read through Holiness by J.C. Ryle. We will start again soon with a Men’s Breakfast on October 4th. Our study for this year hasn’t been decided yet. Let Pastor Brad know if you have a suggestion for a good book to read. Additional men are always welcome to join us.

Toddler Time is a time to give the toddlers (and their parents) who are learning how to sit through a worship service an option for more direct training in worship and age appropriate Christian discipleship.
It is for 3-5 yr olds ~ pre-K and takes place during and after the sermon in the Morning Worship service.

Mustard Seeds is a Sunday evening program for 3-5 yr olds. It starts at 6:30pm when evening service begins. This year we will have a NEW CURRICULUM! We will be using the Beginning Kids Quest Curriculum, from our Sunday School curriculum publishers (GCP). BKQ covers the "first" catechism in a fun and in-depth way.

M&M Clubs is for 2nd-6th graders on the 2nd Sunday during the evening service after the Hymn Singing. M&M clubs does not stand for those colorful candies. It means Missions and Ministry Club. M&M is an exciting opportunity to learn about missionaries our church supports. We accomplish this by giving monthly updates on a particular family and we minister to them through praying for their needs and sending cards and care packages. It’s also a great way for kids to support the missionary kids through letters, prayer, and small gifts at Christmas.

Youth Group for 9th-12th graders meets Saturday Nights at 7:00 PM.
Discipleship, Fun, and Community Building. This is a great time to build and exercise Christian discernment and maturity as we consider how God expects you to think about and relate to the world He has created. This is also a time of fun, building Christian friendship, fulfilling covenant commitments, and encouraging other believers in their walk.

Adult Choir is for people to learn to sing, to support congregational singing, and to lead the congregation in worshiping God through music. It is for people who want to sing or want to learn to sing better (12 yrs old and up). Rehersals are at the church on Wednesday nights at 8:00 PM
To join the choir talk to Bill Glenister for more details.

Children’s Choir is for children in 2nd-6th grades (child needs to be a reader.) Why: Training in singing and the ability to worship God through Music. Children's Choir meets on Wednesday from 7:00-8:00PM

College Student Lunches on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month (begining 9/21) six families from the church will be inviting the college students to their home for lunch after Sunday school.
